Spag Bog, done properly-ish

Making bolgnese sauce properly, while simple, is rather time-consuming. . . .

Yesterday I watched Grave of the Fireflies. It is insanely depressing. Despite this, Elder Sprog insisted on watching it with me, even though she was bawling her eyes out;  lips trembling, eyes glistening, her voice shaking as she asked me questions about the story.

If you haven’t seen it, I really recommend, but I also think you should invest in tissues, and be prepared to pause frequently.

Yesterday also saw the first F1 race of the season. I didn’t get to see it because I can’t think of a bar that’s open at like seven in the morning in order to show racing. *sigh*  I’m sure it was mildly thrilling.

In my reading vibes, I’m mostly done with Tales from the Rogues Gallery and I read A Little Princess yesterday. The dated racism and classism is eye-opening, but I dunno, I still found myself rooting for Sara anyway.
